Aviv Cohen
Aviv Cohen serves as Satellogic’s Chief Operations Officer and Chief of Staff. With more than two decades of experience in technology, Aviv brings proven leadership to Satellogic’s product teams and new market strategies.
Prior to joining Satellogic in 2016, Aviv ran operations and sales for several technology startups, including Fraud Sciences (acquired by PayPal) and Core Security Technologies, where he was instrumental in growing the business from the very early start-up stage to a position of industry leadership in their respective markets. Subsequent to the PayPal acquisition, Aviv headed Risk Management for PayPal’s European business unit. Earlier in his career, he focused on software development and technology.
Aviv served as an officer for an Israeli intelligence agency. He holds an MBA and an MS degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a BS degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
