Biography

Caitlin Kontgis serves as Chief of Staff at Satellogic, partnering with the executive team to drive cross-functional alignment and strategic execution. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Commercial & Growth at Satellogic, where she led the company’s global go-to-market strategy and built and scaled key partnerships.

Dr. Kontgis brings over 10 years of experience scaling frontier technology companies in geospatial intelligence, AI/ML, and remote sensing, including roles at Capella Space, Impact Observatory, and Descartes Labs.

Caitlin holds a PhD in Geography from University of Wisconsin, Madison and a BA in Geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara. When not working, she likes to be outside running, gardening, or skiing with her husband and 2 dogs.
